Types of Fencing
You Want It, We Build It!
Lenz Fencing offers many different types of fences to meet your specific needs. We have listed a few of our most common for you below.

Residential Fencing
Chain Link
Chain link is a very versatile option for residential and commercial customers. Chain link is a great option to secure your animals and property at an affordable price. Colored chain link is available upon request. It is made of woven, inter-locking steel wire. The stability comes from steel posts that are cemented into the ground before attaching the wire mesh. We use galvanized steel that can be coated or painted to prevent corrosion creating long-lasting durability.
Privacy Fence
We offer a wide range of wood privacy fences. We love creating fences perfect for individual customers. Reach out with your request and a vision of the project and we will be happy to provide an estimate.
Vertical/Horizonal Privacy Fencing:
We create our privacy fences with vertically or horizontally hung wood pickets. We use naturally weathered and rot-resistant cedar wood posts along with well-hidden steel posts for stability. Cedar or rough cut lumber both look great for the pickets. Both options should be stained to prevent rot and insects.

Agricultural Fencing
Let Lenz Fencing create a fencing solution based on your specific agricultural needs. We provide field fence (woven wire), barbed-wire, post & rail, non-climb, deer/garden fence or a combination of these.
Field Fencing
Woven wire consists of 4 x 6-inch rectangles at the bottom of the fence that convert to 6 x 6-inch squares for the top 2/3. This fence is used for cattle, hogs, and deer. It comes in 32-, 36-, 47- and 96-inch heights.
Non-climb fences are made for dogs, goats, chicken, and sheep. This option provides 2 x 4-inch rectangles that these critters can’t get their heads or feet caught in. These come in 36-, 48-, and 60-inch heights.
A less common option that we provide is a 4 x 4-inch square that works well for sheep and goats. This option comes in a 48-inch height.
Hog/Pig Fencing
Hogs and pigs require a sturdier fencing solution. Hog panels are made of thick gauged steel and are welded together in either the field fence, non-climb, or sheep and goat fence configuration. They are typically 16-feet long and range in height from 36- to 60-inches.
Barbed-Wire Fencing
Barbed wire is the most common and affordable type of cattle fencing available. Fences range in height from 46- to 52-inches with four or five strands of wire. To keep calves enclosed, barbed wire will be used in conjunction with field fence. This type of fencing uses wood post or an alternating wood and steel t-post to hold the wire up.
Post and Rail
Post and rail fences are built with anywhere from three to five rails across the posts. We use wood or steel posts and either whole rails (3-5-inch), split rails (4 ½ or 5 ½-inch), or boards (2- x 4- or 2- x 6-inch). This fence is great for keeping horses contained or to boarder entire properties.
